Short, but sweet.

Today’s Guitar Solo Transcription is a nice simple one from Jody Porter of Fountains Of Wayne. There’s quite a bit of sliding around here, which adds to the smooth sound. The solo is doubled an octave up by what sounds like a synth, and there’s a little harmony on the final bar to bring the whole thing to a climax.

If you want a bit more of a challenge, why not see if you can move some notes around so it’s playable in a single position? Anyway, here’s the transcription:
